DIY Tribal Thread Wrapped Necklace

So, I may still be obsessed with the tribal wrapped look. I can’t help it, these pieces are so cute and  just so fun to make :)

The colour combinations are endless!

You may have seen similar tutorials around months ago, but I would just like to put my method out there for people who are looking for other options.

Tools:

Here I’ve used a rubberised rope as opposed to the usual cotton rope, it’s 4 times the price of regular cotton rope, but it keeps the shape of the necklace very well and will last much longer.

Tutorial:

After making one, I decided to start embellishing a few others with brass hex nuts and copper tubes. Here are a few pieces I thought were really pretty.

I’m selling a few pieces in my Etsy store, so if you would like to have one, but don’t have the time or patience to make one you can find them here.
