Pretty Cute Jacket: ASOS Parka

My recent obsession is with the military Parka. It’s so weird, just last year I thought this style was so ugly, but over time I’ve found certain parka cuts I really like!

I tend to lean towards the larger, more drape like cuts with an accent like fur or a funky asymmetrical cut-out. I still don’t like the ones that look quite obviously like raincoats with the nautical drawstring around the waist and hem, but thats me.

Khaki and navy are also the way to go

Here are some I found off ASOS which I am quite tempted by:

The first three are a little more traditional and the last two more contemporary which are quite cool. I really want the first one in navy, but for the moment I’ve settled on stealing my boyfys coat that looks like the third one!

Men’s parkas also do the trick very well so if you come across one in an op-shop there’s your opportunity! – or steal your partners coat like I did
