So, I may still be obsessed with the tribal wrapped look. I can’t help it, these pieces are so cute and just so fun to make 🙂
The colour combinations are endless!
You may have seen similar tutorials for wrapped necklaces around months ago, but I would just like to put my method out there for people who are looking for other options.
Tools:
Here I’ve used a rubberised rope as opposed to the usual cotton rope, it’s 4 times the price of regular cotton rope, but it keeps the shape of the necklace very well and will last much longer.
Tutorial:
After making one, I decided to start embellishing a few others with brass hex nuts and copper tubes. Here are a few pieces I thought were really pretty.
I’m selling a few pieces in my Etsy store, so if you would like to have one, but don’t have the time or patience to make one you can find them here.

This is the best wrap necklace DIY I have ever seen! I shared it here on SocialBliss: http://www.socialbliss.com/lintvintage/dying-for-diy-GE2TQNBZ/pretty-quirky-pants-G44TCMBR
I really like the way you paired the necklaces with the hex nuts! Genius!
