I’ve made a heap of macrame bracelets before but I think this is my new favourite one!\
Materials:
Materials are from Pandahall.
You could use other types of beads of different sizes and materials to switch things up a bit, maybe even jade!
Beginning the bracelet.
Step 1:
- Cut out a piece of waxed cord longer than 2x your desired bracelet length.
- Thread a bead to the center of it and tie a knot to keep it in place. It should now look like its been folded in half with a bed on one side and loose threads on the other. Stick it down as shown in the image to a ficed surface.
- Cut a second piece of waxed cord about 1.5m in length and place it behind the stuck down cord. Center it.
Step 2:
- Bring the single right cord over the double center cords.
Step 3:
- Bring the single left cord over the single right cord and thread it back under the right cord and the center double cord.
- The image below shows how the knot should look like before tightening.
Step 4:
- Tighten the knot.
- Bring the single left cord over the double center cords.
Step 5:
- Bring the single right cord over the single left cord and thread it back under the left cord and the center double cord.
- The image below shows how the knot should look like before tightening.
Step 6:
- Tighten and repeat the last 4 steps while adding beads
The following video will show you how to add beads.
Ending the bracelet.
Make sure it is the desired length.
Overlap the two ends and continue the macrame.
Make one or two more knots.
Add beads all excess threads, tie them off and snip of excess.
And that’s it!

Do you make and sell the beaded macramé bracelets? If so please let me know as I would like to purchase.
Hi, I used to make and sell them, but not anymore. Sorry!
